Hi Gotroch, I had a few Questions...

Torroidal

Do the shapes have to be rectangular boxes or they can also be jigsaw shaped??

Draw a Jigsaw.

When we draw the shapes is it a must that an incomplete line has to be only an extension of the given part or we can start drawing a shape from any point even from the middle of a given segment??

Which digit is missing?

In this puzzle I see a T-shaped green line, is that supposed to be treated as one single green line where the sum of all digits is the common sum, or do we treat them as 2 different lines with one digit common?

All shapes have to be 3x3 rectangular boxes. But as it is toroidal puzzle, these 3x3 boxes can wrap around edges.
As I wrote before you have only 9 possible ways how to arrange straight lines. (Theoretically you can arrange them in such way, that you create classic sudoku)

You can draw bold lines anywhere you want, but you have to satisfy the rule that if you have two neighbouring cells, divided by bold line ---> these two cells have to be in two different regions.

For that T-shaped green line: Four cells are connected together - so common sum (X) will be the sum of these 4 digits (1+6+3+0=10)

As announced earlier, there will not be any online solving mechanism in this test.

Hi

I have a question before I start. Not sure if it can be answered but it will help me. I don't have access to a working printer this weekend, so will have to copy down the puzzles to paper. I just wanted to know if all grids besides the jigsaws will be in a standard 3x3 grid. Especially wondering for the instructionless, if this is something that you could give away. Will help me get my grids ready for when I start copying. hoping I don't copy a number wrong.. Sounds like an interesting set, so would still like to try. Think i'll have to skip the killer, not very practical.

Thanks for the amazing puzzles Gotroch. Some true 10-star puzzles here. Too bad something was missing from my brain while solving some of them, as a lot of mistakes at the start hurt my overall performance.

Do I need any Java or what?

You don't need java. If you are able to see the login box, that means you don't need any additional software on your machine.

Can I suggest to refresh your page and try again? As per our database, you haven't started the test yet. So you can try to start again.
