An Email will be sent to the top 60 of SM and PR respectively as per the cumulative results, containing the registration form. Refer here and here for the results and let us know if you are in the top 60 and haven't received an email by Thursday.
Instruction Booklets and round-by-round updates for ISC and IPC 2026 will be posted here as they become available. [TBA]
Logic Masters India (LMI) is conducting the Indian Sudoku Championship (ISC) 2026 on 15th August 2026 and the Indian Puzzle Championship (IPC) 2026 on 16th August 2026.
Venue Details
Hotel Mumbai House, Andheri East, Mumbai
Website: Hotel Mumbai House
Location: Google Map Link
ISC and IPC 2026 will broadly follow the format of previous years.
Day 1 (15th August) features the competitive ISC rounds, starting at 9 am and running past lunch. The Sudoku Mahabharat Playoffs (for eligible solvers) and a short casual event follow. The day will conclude with the Prize Distribution around 6 pm.
Day 2 (16th August) features the competitive IPC rounds, again starting at 9 am and running past lunch, followed by the Puzzle Ramayan Playoffs (for eligible solvers) and a short casual event. The day will conclude with the Prize Distribution around 6 pm.
As usual, the main competition will have around 4–5 rounds.
- The top 60 of the SM online rounds are invited for ISC, and the top 60 of the PR online rounds are invited for IPC.
- Participants eligible only on the Sudoku side may register for both days. Those eligible only on the Puzzles side should wait for confirmation that they may register for both days. [confirmation date TBA]
- In the meantime, they may register for the Puzzles side alone, and indicate interest in attending the Sudoku day — so that if slots open up later, they can still claim the combination discount.
- If we receive no response or indication of interest by the cut-off, securing a slot afterwards may be difficult, even for those in the top 60. [cut-off date TBA]
Registration is a two-step process:
- Fill in the registration form. The link will be mailed to the top 60 and not made public. If waiting list members can register, the link will be shared with them individually.
- Pay the registration fee (or the advance shown below).
A participation fee is charged mainly to cover the venue, prizes and other costs, so we can give participants the best possible experience. The structure is as follows: [2026 fees to be confirmed]
| Online | Advance & On-Spot | |
|---|---|---|
| SM & ISC | Rs. 1400 | Rs. 500 & Rs. 1000 (Rs. 1500) |
| PR & IPC | Rs. 1250 | Rs. 450 & Rs. 900 (Rs. 1350) |
| Joint | Rs. 2500 | Rs. 900 & Rs. 1800 (Rs. 2700) |
- Online — pay in full and confirm online. The full amount is due at the time of registration.
- Advance & On-Spot — for participants who register but pay the balance on the day. You pay a deposit online at registration and the remainder on site.
- Payment
Pay by UPI to 7019678898. We confirm any payment within 24 hours.
If UPI doesn't work for you, reach out at logicmasteradmin@gmail.com or on WhatsApp at 9819261933 to arrange an alternative. - Cancellation and refunds
- If you know you can't attend — even after paying — please tell us, so we can offer your place to someone on the waiting list.
- If you paid Online, you can get a full refund by cancelling at least 3.5 weeks before the events. [cancellation date TBA]
- After that, payments are non-refundable. This may change depending on registrations, in which case we will contact you to offer refunds.
- If you paid the Advance, it is non-refundable if you can't attend — but you'll still receive all the competition content after the finals. The same applies if you paid Online and take a partial refund (for example, paying Rs. 450 for ISC & SM gives you all the Sudoku competition booklets).
- More notes
- This event makes no profit for us. Over the last few years we have gradually increased the fees to reach our costs as the venues hiked them up post covid. We've kept everything as participant-friendly as possible; our goal is simply to recover costs. The earlier you confirm and pay in full, the easier it is for us to plan.
- If you're bringing guests, the main hall may not have space during competition hours, but they're welcome to join for lunch. This costs the same as the event's "Online" fee. Please tell us about guests in advance — the hotel needs exact numbers.
- The participation fee includes:
- Afternoon lunch and evening snacks
- Participation in the day's competitive and recreational rounds
- All puzzle content from the event (once checking is complete)
- Goodies
- The participation fee does not include:
- Travel
- Stay arrangements
Every player who attends the offline finals receives a certificate. In addition:
- The top 3 at the offline finals receive medals / trophies.
- Players Under-21 and over-50 at the offline finals receive special prizes.
- Players travelling from other countries (non-Indians) receive special prizes.
- In the SM and PR playoffs, the top 3 receive trophies and the top 5 receive certificates.
If you're not in the top 60 but would still like to take part, you can sign up for the waiting list.
- The waiting-list process is the same as in previous years.
- Around 3–4 weeks before the finals, we may contact those who have signed up.
- If slots remain in the finals, people on the waiting list are contacted on a first-come, first-served basis.
- If you're on the waiting list and can attend, you pay the "Advance & On-Spot" fee — payable in full at the venue (for example, Rs. 1350 for SM & ISC).
- Goodies may not be personalised with your name.

Participants are expected to make their own travel and stay arrangements.
If you're attending both days, we recommend a hotel at or near the venue for the night of 15th August. Contact us for any help, such as pairing up to share a double room.
If you'd like to stay at the venue (Hotel Mumbai House) itself, let us know — we can arrange discounted rates.
