The GP this year will contribute to the base points. This also further justifies the special case team selection criteria for NRI cases. This is a good initiative in general. It's probably a headache / edge-case but what happens to GP test solvers? |

Posts: 2 Country : India | tushhr posted @ 2023-05-26 11:02 AM Hi Akash, I have never solved one - but from the file shared, the rule seems like these The number given at the top of the cage = Sum of all the numbers "within" the cage _PLUS_ (Sum of all the numbers which are on the border of the cage / 2) Also numbers within a cage, must be unique! And the number which are on the border - may contribute to more than one cage (Like the cage at the bottom left) I might be wrong, but that's what I understand, and seems valid on the example given. |

Both Puzzle and Sudoku events were impeccably organized by Prasanna and Amit respectively. I tremendously enjoyed day 2 since I love longer rounds and there were a lot of rounds with long duration. Choice of sudoku types were also nice and it was refreshing to see many interesting variants in the mix. Quality of puzzles and sudokus were fantastic as well. Thanks to Amit, Prasanna, all authors for creating wonderful sudokus/puzzles and to volunteers for helping out. |
