Hello everyone,

Logic Masters India has been running and improving a contest engine with innovative features since we had our humble beginning with Mock Tests which transformed into the now popular Monthly tests. LMI has provided a platform for many great contests from the world's best authors, and has also provided a chance for Beginners to get involved. On the Indian front, LMI has organized the National Championships for many years now and has also provided content and other services towards running puzzle contests at local levels. We've been offering all of these services free of cost, but we would greatly appreciate some level of support from our fans, worldwide as well as within India.

To this end, we have started a patronage system using the Patreon website. You can visit our page on Patreon, and the relevant page on LMI as well for more details. We thank you for your continued participation, and request you to consider supporting us with pledges. Please do remember some of the rewards need you to send an email with your choice to our email id, patronage@logicmastersindia.com. If there are any further questions, please feel free to ask them on this thread.

Thank you,
LMI team.

I don't know how much effort is required, but maybe you should enable the option of paying (like in rupees with debit card or netbanking) without needing a credit card. I'm sure one of the online payment agencies (like BillDesk) should provide this.

I do agree with Rohan. I wanted to contribute and it lead me to page which requires me to put all my Credit Card information along with my PIN and other billing details, which I did not considered safe and did not proceed further.

As of now, having a Paypal account works for making a payment, as far as I am aware. I just re-checked just in case, and it's the last option on the payment list.

Paypal's pretty secure I think, I've been conducting transactions using it for a while now. But yes, we'll explore setting up more payment options. Thanks for the feedback.

I don't have a Credit Card or a PayPal Account. Is there any other way I can contribute. Or do I need to open a PayPal account.

Until an alternative option is set up, the best way would be to open a PayPal account. I can say it doesn't take much effort. It's a bit easier if the transactions are through Patreon to maintain regularity. But if you want an alternative option, please send a mail to patronage@logicmastersindia.com with details of your preferences and we'll see what can be done.

Note: The rewards for the month of April have been sent to our Patrons.

Side Note: Still not arrived at setting up an alternative payment system for Indians, if you are an Indian and are interested in being a patron, you can mail us directly at patronage@logicmastersindia.com to explore immediate options based on your preference.

Thanks,
Prasanna

How about just sharing the Bank account number and NEFT code of the bank branch?
That way, we can at least directly transfer funds. It is a little unprofessional, but it certainly would be much easier and convenient for now...

Well, we'd still like to keep tabs on patrons and have the same rewards system throughout for consistency. Its better if we know that X is pledging Y amount and is eligible for Z rewards, and then we can sort them in with the others in that reward category, and also have their email address ready to send out the rewards. If someone sends a mail to the email above, sharing the account details is what we'll do for now anyway. I feel its better than sharing publicly, for our own tallying purposes.

Hi Prasanna. Does the Puzzle packs will be sent via e-mail or do we need to download from the site with some password. Also I was able to use my Debit Card itself in Patreon site. Thanks.

Hi Varun,
You should've received a mail about the same by now. If you didn't, please let me know. In general, the rewards will get mailed. The June rewards haven't been sent yet. I'll post here when they are.

Adding to this, this month we had our first Beginners' Contest reward on LMI. GM Puzzles requested that we have a Beginners' Contest featuring Cave, and it was addressed in the recent Beginners' Contest, along with Yajilin.

The link for the contest is here - http://logicmastersindia.com/BeginnersPuzzle/201408/?round=1 . There were 205 participants from all countries, and 73 were Beginners. A total of 178 participants achieved a non-zero score in at least one section.

We thank GM Puzzles for the support and the request.
