Serbian Sudoku Championship

This test will also be used as Serbian Sudoku Championship. So this test will start at a time which is most convenient to Serbian participants, i.e. at 19:00 hours Serbian time on Friday. Submissions until 21:10 hours Serbian time will be considered for the championship. So Serbian players must start early enough to permit themselves full solving time. Check this pdf at Puzzle Serbia site for other important information.

The solution of "all odd or all even" is wrong, see block 6 and 9.

Uploaded IB with correct solution. My solving mistake :-(
Also, changed the Kropki variation name to have one name across pages.

Please note, almost all examples in the IB actually appeared in the mock tests. So their difficulty level may vary a lot, and has nothing to do with the points assigned.

hey just to clarify the partial point system of LINKED MINI SUDOKU

it says "grid without hints 30,grid with hints 15 points each"

so if i solved four grids that has hints and one grid which does not have hints..
then i will get 15+15+15+15+30=90 points greater than 75(for completely solved puzzle)

I guess there will be only four grids (30+15+15+15 = 75)

In Series Sudoku, is it true, from a solving point of view, that the order of the series has no significance and we simply have to ensure that the shaded cells contain a digit contained in the set of given numbers?

The repetition of digits and sequence of digits does not matter as long as those digits appear in shaded cells. The '1' is repeated because the theme is 'Pi', the givens are shaped like the symbol 'Pi' and the numbers outside represent the value of 'Pi'.

It looks very interesting .

I find it difficult to distinguish the gray lines and arrows on hidden skyscrapers and diagonal consecutive. Could they be a bit darker on the test grids?

Thanks !

Changed the arrows to 40% black (it was 20% earlier). Let me know if this is better.

I was solving the IB exmaples and found Windoku sample a tough one, took more than 10 minutes, just wanted general opinion on its difficulty, if some top solvers can share thier timing !!

I would not say it is easy for an average solver, but I've seen ones that are a lot tougher than this one. Took me around 8 minutes for this one (and solvable logically, without a need for guesswork), but I am not a 'top solver' in Windoku :-)

I hope you use the Windoku 'extra-regions' rule: (Each set of same-coloured cells contains numbers 1-9 apart from the nine 3x3 boxes and four 3x3 regions)
