Really terrific work all around for this Convention, the community is very fortunate to have so many dedicated authors and tireless workers. Thank you all so much!

On the Equestrian puzzle -- I see two neighboring circles in each puzzle with a 42 in both solutions (I didn't work them out myself), but are the shared digits going to be in the same orientation in both grids? In other words, would a possible puzzle have a 42 (in that order) in the Sudoku puzzle and those digits reversed into a 24 (in that order) in the Kakuro puzzle? I suspect it will be clear(er) during the solving process but just to be sure I thought I would ask here.

Feature request: After the Time Trials are all over, will it be possible to post a single PDF with all of them together? I'm prioritizing the other rounds while they count, and I hope to be able to solve the TT later without having to print out 27 separate files...

We hope this can be done, but please understand that it will be near the bottom of a list of things that needs to get done.
If some time passes and this hasn't been completed, I can personally forward the files to you later.
Thank you kindly for the interest.

Thank you for the kind words, Ziti.
Regarding Equestrian, there will be similar-looking circles across the two grids. They will not be coded but the identical pattern should hopefully be clear that we are sticking to the same orientation of all the placements. So no, it is not possible for digits to switch around.

The weightlifting example puzzle has quite a few solutions. Interestingly, the given one is none of them (since there is a 3 in R4C3).

You are right. Thank you for alerting us.
There are so many things wrong with that example. Please see the newer IB with this fix in an above post.

In the new IB, there is also a re-wording of Sailing (Nagareru) to clarify the rules.

Could the solution to the example be a rectangle, i.e. could the line visit row 2 column 4 instead of row 3 column 3? If not, why?

This is a very good question and is precisely why we added "If the loop cannot travel in the wind’s direction upon entering a cell in which the wind blows (such as it results in the loop hitting the edge of the grid, or a black cell), it may not enter that cell" to the new version of the IB (see download link above).

In the example, if the loop travels down from R2C4 to R3C4 it would be hit by the wind and will not be able to travel in the wind's direction as it will crash to the edge of the grid.
Hope this helps.

Great, thanks. I saw the addition, but somehow still thought that the wind was only in the cell next to the arrow.

That's very kind of you! And even posting a ZIP file of the separate PDFs (which is probably as simple as sending them to me directly and benefits more people) would be great. I'm just hoping not to have to visit all the pages separately.

Thank you all for your hard work! The puzzle quality on everything I've encountered so far has been tremendous.

On Rowing, my answer key was highlighted in red and I had to use the "Submit All" button for it to work. Is this normal? I was confused for a solid minute or two about what I had done wrong.

I also faced the same issue. The Instruction booklet shows the Answer Key with comma-separated co-ordinates but the submission page expects the answers the co-ordinates with no spaces or any other separators. That's what was causing the issue. I found it after experimenting with the submissions.

There are commas in the IB only to separate the multiple keys to show how they work. We never have commas in the submission page. We will remove your penalties later, other than that something to remember.

That's okay. I don't mind the penalties. My submissions with the commas were wrong anyways for one of the co-ordinates. But the red highlight definitely threw me off a bit.

Time Trials Part 3 IB

The Time Trials part 3 Instruction Booklet is available on the landing page. Here is a quick link - https://www.worldpuzzle.org/files/106/timetrials%20part%20three%20IB...
Note that there is a new schedule for the last 11 Time Trials. Mainly, after TT23 there is now a 12 hour gap, and everything else continues every 6 hours from there. The IB has the schedule. Also note that on the landing page, Time Trials 23-33 are currently collapsed by default and can be clicked on to expand. We will switch this with 12-22 when the 22nd one is over.

The new timings are updated on both the landing page as well as the Progress page.

The instructions for Volleyball contain a line that says "so that numbers repeat in any straight line" and also a "no repeat rule". Based on the example, I think the first phrase is the wrong one.
