Hi,

In the solution it is mentioned that the dashed solved grid is a variant that is not used in the solution. However I see that the dashed solved grid also satisfies the Non-Consecutive constraint as a variant.

Could you please confirm that the competition puzzle will retain the same dimensions as this example?

The competition puzzle will have different dimensions.

Hi,
will be the competition puzzle printed on a single A4 sheet? Will the competition puzzle booklet contain instructions?

The competition puzzle will be in A3 along with all the instructions. Will get this added in the IB.
Thanks!

But solved puzzles to look for are still 6x6, right?

Solving classics takes less than 5% of the overall solving time, but gives half of the points.
It could be better to rearrange points, for example: 15 points for correctly copied row and 15 points for solved classic.

Yes, the solved grids and the two Classics are all 6x6. Only the dimensions of the large grid is different from the one given in the IB.

Thanks for the suggestion.
But we won't be changing the points for any round.

In all the grids which need to be found, are all the sub grid boxes of the same type ( eg. 2 rows 3 columns like in the example) or is it possible to have mixed geometry boxes ?

No. This is not allowed. We will highlight it in the Q&A.
