The first official Asian Sudoku Championship (ASC) took place in 2018. The following are the links to the different years so far:

India has sent teams to represent the country at the ASC since its inaugural year. India has always had strong showings at the event, including three gold medals at the team event (2019, 2020 and 2023*) and 6 podium finishes (3 by Rohan Rao, 2 by Prasanna Seshadri and 1 by Kishore Sridharan). *In 2023 India could not send a full team, but won the team event in a joint team with China and Chinese Taipei.
