Looking forward for the solution of that sudoku :-) Anyway, great contest as usual, thanks very much! |

Posts: 139 Country : Estonia | TiiT posted @ 2021-05-16 4:35 PM Really nice set of sudokus. I really enjoyed solving! But I must mention, that those bars in Average sudoku - they just were not visible at all. Luckily there were not so many of them to redraw, so I can say it wasn't too painful. But still, it seems strange. I thought there was a discussion here about the shading. It seems those suggestions were just ignored. |

Actually, we used the final shading selection made by you and others. But maybe something strange happening with pdf rendering. I will reach out to you separately to follow up few things. Thanks. |

Posts: 419 Country : India | kishy72 posted @ 2021-05-17 4:27 PM Thanks for a nice set of Sudokus Hemant .The set was very approachable. Other than a minor hiccup in the middle of the set wherein I probably lost 3-4 mins (LMI site went down and showed 500 internal server error), test went smoothly. I am thankful that I wasn't distracted too much when this happened and the site came on before my test got over ! Favourites are Average (9*9) & Battenburg(9*9). Nice creations ! |

Posts: 5 Country : India | shambo posted @ 2021-05-18 9:05 AM I felt extremely delighted after finishing the contest before the timer ran out. I stumbled once in one of the four 9*9 classics but cracked it in no time. All the sudokus had an elegant and smooth solve path. This is the third time I am breaching the 100 barricade. I really want to reach the acme of my sudoku career. My favourites were 9*9 battenburg, 9*9 kropki and 9*9 average. Thanks Hemant for constructing such an amazing set of sudokus. |

Posts: 5 Country : India | dhruvarajsinhpuwar06 posted @ 2021-05-19 4:31 PM This was another SM-5 round which I could solve except 9x9 Kropki Sudoku. After the contest, I took help of Mr. Prasanna Sir to know the starting crack point and solved it successfully and its logic was best in this round. And again, I made an error while entering in the answer key. In this round, my favourites were 9x9 Battenburg, 9x9 Average and 9x9 Kropki. |

Country : India | Administrator posted @ 2021-05-19 10:24 PM ImportantLMI started the concept of "restricted threads" long back. The main objective of this was to provide a platform to encourage discussions among participants who have completed the contest and to share feedback without worrying about disclosing anything to the participants who have not taken the test yet. A few participants use this forum regularly to share feedback, happy reactions and bad experiences too. We are also aware that participants discuss some tests in other forums too - with adequate checks and restrictions. However, in this particular test, it has been brought to our notice that there have been explicit discussions about certain grids on other platforms and people have participated in the test after discussing the solutions. This is against the spirit of fair play, and does more harm than benefit. We are disappointed about this and unable to understand the reason for such behaviour. The number of such participants is only a handful though. Thanks to all our regular LMI participants, who take part in the test honestly and refrain from parallel discussions while the test is live. If you notice any malpractices related to an ongoing LMI contest - in any platform, please try to stop it and also bring it to our notice, so that we can try to correct it and make the test experience fair and enjoyable to everyone. |
