Country : India | debmohanty posted @ 2016-02-26 8:09 AM Classic Tapa Contest for 2016 is officially over. sai won the contest, by a huge margin, as most of us were expecting. EKBM and Prasanna had a very close contest, with EKBM jumping ahead in last few days. Congratulations. Despite the minor hiccups on few days, I hope everyone enjoyed the contest. Like every year, we will be posting some stats soon. |

Country : India | debmohanty posted @ 2016-02-26 8:13 AM Personally, it would have been very exciting to have Prasanna at the second place, but he can take consolation in the fact that he has lost to none other than the World Puzzle Champion. |

Posts: 315 Country : The Netherlands | Para posted @ 2016-03-04 7:32 AM There is a hard deduction on the left side. You can't get past the 113 in R8C2. If you were to go past the left of it R7C3 would be an isolated cell because of the 14 and 24. The 22 blocks passing down the bottom. This means that section of the Tapa wall must connect down the bottom of the grid. Edited by Para 2016-03-04 7:34 AM |

Its sad that that one mistake came because of a double click around a 1-1 corner clue, would have been nice to have perfect accuracy like deu :) |
