Country : India | debmohanty posted @ 2016-03-15 1:50 PM We have received complaints from multiple players from Slovakia that they are not able to access LMI website ( http://logicmastersindia.com/ ). They have tried from different computers / from different networks, but LMI is not accessible. At LMI, we have no idea what the problem could be - because it is accessible from other countries - that is what we assume when we see players from other countries participating in the ongoing contests. Would anyone know what the problem could be? |

Country : India | debmohanty posted @ 2016-03-15 1:51 PM 3 players from Slovakia participated in the Irregular episode (kevaromnaj, Veronika, mackokajka). May be they can advise how they are able to access. |

Posts: 337 Country : Switzerland | Fred76 posted @ 2016-03-15 3:08 PM I'm not an expert, but my two cents are that it may be a problem with DNS server. maybe someone can try to change the DNS servers from his ISP to google DNS server (for example): https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/ and see if the problem is solved. A little test that you can do if you are not able to access LMI website is try to see if you can translate it via google translate: https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=sk&js=y&prev=_t&hl... . If yes, it means the website isn't down, and it may be a problem with your DNS provider. Just an idea, I'm not sure if it can be the reason. Fred P.S.: Do the 3 players who were able to access have another ISP than other Slovakian players? |

Country : India | debmohanty posted @ 2016-03-16 6:20 AM Updates Lubos (LMI id ufo1965) and Matej tried the google public DNS settings, they still can't open LMI website. Google translate opens for both of them. I asked them to enter ip address of LMI ( http://69.167.150.180 ), they are not even able to open that page. I created an alternate domain ( http://l-m-i.in/ ), that also does not work. |

Country : India | debmohanty posted @ 2016-03-18 5:10 AM Rohan offered a workaround and that works. Install Google Chrome Extension - Browsec. This allows to access different websites as-if you are in a different country. Both Matej and Lubos confirmed that they are able to open LMI site. Posts: 5 Country : Slovakia | mackokajka posted @ 2016-03-18 1:39 PM Hi Last month or so I was able to connect to LMI site only in 2 ways. 1. By my Android cell phone and that only if I used paid mobile data from my mobile provider O2. It did not work when connected by wifi. 2. By my (very old) computer in work - with operating system Windows XP. So the only way to "participate" in contests is that in Friday I download the file in my work together with password and then later at home at the weekend I solve the tasks. No chance to submit anything in reasonable time. Martin |

Posts: 170 Country : Germany | rob posted @ 2016-03-18 7:14 PM Have you had a look at which internet providers you are using? It seems very likely that those with trouble use the same internet provider, which blocks / has trouble with logicmastersindia.com for whatever reason. Rajesh's link above is useful. It would be valuable to know if those with trouble can resolve logicmastersindia.com, if they can ping its IP address, and where traceroute gets stuck. |
