Posts: 33 Country : Turkey | A Carton Mutant posted @ 2021-06-27 3:28 PM Thanks Swaroop, I can confirm it does apply. Cells inside the loop count as shaded cells forming the Tapa, which has no 2x2 shaded cells as a base rule. I get the uncertainty though, I probably should have added a sentence like "Shaded cells obey Tapa restrictions." or just specifically added the no 2x2 rule again to be safer. Apologies for the confusion. |

Its mentioned in "Important points" earlier on this thread that there shall be no "claim bonus" button. (However, there is a line in the IB about claim bonus which may have led to the confusion.) Bonus shall be calculated automatically if all submissions are correct. |

Posts: 21 Country : United States | IHNN posted @ 2021-06-30 11:25 AM I was a bit worried about this TVC after the last one, and was potentially going to skip it and solve the puzzles on my own time later. I found myself with some unexpected time tonight and I'm glad I decided to give this a shot- very fun set! I don't have any favorite puzzles because they were all excellent, which is a great problem to have! |

Posts: 34 Country : Turkey | bskbri posted @ 2021-07-02 8:29 PM I submitted the answer of a puzzle twice. The first was wrong and I got a 10% penalty for the correct one. I think this might be bug in the code. And is there a way to make protest in the new contest format? |

Congratulations to the Top 3: Endo Ken, Freddie Hand and Jeffrey Bardon. Not surprisingly, the highest pointer had the least correct submissions. Notably, Mad Max Tapa 2 had only 60% correct answers. Thanks to the authors for a more approachable TVC this time! |

Posts: 30 Country : India | kheti posted @ 2021-07-06 10:29 PM Hi, I believe answers for this contest were also going to be accepted if the format was different than the one mentioned, specifically if the length of both shaded and unshaded cells were entered. Where might one find the scores adjusted to reflect this? |
