In case you face this issue, please refer to the PB pdf for actual shaded cells. Notes for Online solvers: (1) Linked 9x9: For some users, there may be a slight gap in the alignment of the cell boundary and the pencilmarks (orange square). You can ignore the alignment gaps and continue solving as normal.

Well that's not a good start for me. Most probably this would be my discard. I kept breaking puzzles. I broke both overlapping again and again. I broke bigger linked. 30 min are gone by this time with all wrong. Started fresh again. And this time i got it right fortunately. Nonetheless very nice set of puzzles. Enjoyed a lot. Well done.

2018 is going to be such an exciting year for puzzle competitions, and I couldn't have asked for a better set to start. My only real issue is that the 6x6 expanded sudoku isn't really a variation, but rather two completely independent grids presented in a somewhat confusing way. It took me 180 minutes to finish the whole set, so I've got a lot to work on when it comes to solve times. Everything fell apart when I tried to enter the answer key for the large XV with seconds to go, but I mixed up the answer strings. Thanks for a great set! Since the grid was effectively 12x12, the intention was to keep the solve simple and "hide" two 6x6s, as you correctly noted. There were multiple ways of complicating the grid but we decided against it for the contest since the grid had become large.

Despite the fact that I enjoyed a lot, there were some puzzles that had multiple correct answers, but apparently system was willing to accept only of the possible correct solution. Please look into the matter so points can be given fairly to each participants.

In these puzzles, ALL the possible symbols (bars for consecutive, X / V for XV, and lines for Average) are marked on the grid. Kindly check your multiple answers. I am sure there will be rule violations in these - (a) two neighbouring numbers adding to 10 without an X, or adding to 5 without a V (b) consecutive numbers without a symbol, and (c) central number being the average of two neighbours without a line.
