Kolkata was in our original plans - but didn't work out for multiple reasons!
but hey Kharagpur is very close to Kolkata, if I'm not mistaken. |

Country : India | The individual event websites will be updated in a few days. The Kharagpur event is in end of January and the schedule will be updated in advance of the event. |

Country : India | The event is open to participants of all ages. Though the rounds are part of student festivals we have arranged for participation from non students too.

I am very eager to participate in ISC 2011. The regional rounds for ISC 2011 is not conducted in TN, but for IPC 2011 it is going to held in IIT-Madras. Why regional rounds for ISC2011 is not conducted in Tamil Nadu? |

There was mistake in our part. The regional round ISC 2011 is scheduled at IIT Madras. We've updated the schedule.
Note that IPC 2011 is not scheduled at IIT Madras. |

Suppose the top 3 from one of the regions end up being the top3 nationally, then we who knows the person who stood fourth from the same region could have been the fourth person nationally as well. Of course, this sort of scenario is quite unlikely, but if we do not follow logical processes then who will :)

On the spot registration is allowed in all colleges.
If you can specify which college you are talking abt, we'll try to give exact details. |

Hi Munira,
The number of players to represent India (or any other country ) at WSC is decided by the host country - which is Hungary this year. They've not yet decided whether it is 3 players from a country or 4.
Based on our understanding from them, it is likely to be a 3 member team since this year World Sudoku Championship and World Puzzle Championship will be held together (not on the same dates, but within the same week and same venue ) |

Hi Radek,
We'll have it open for 24 hours after the Practice Test ends.
Note that, as mentioned in the ISC page, this is just for practice and the puzzles / sudokus will be relatively easy (compared to LMI monthly tests )

Regional rounds will be held offline at respective colleges |

Looks like you started the test from Techfest site.
In any case, your submissions should have been recorded. |

Country : India | The official period for Practice test is now over. We had around 250 participants (mostly from Techfest IIT Bombay).
The results will be published soon.
The Practice test will be open till 14:00 tomorrow, for those who missed during the official period.
