Why is Thomas Snyder named as 'Snyder' if all others are named with their 1st names?
Why not enter all surnames too? (I dont think it requires too much space)

Or maybe you can keep it as:
Thomas S, Jason Z, Jakub O, Nikola Z, Rishi P, Rakesh R, etc.

But I would still prefer with the surname.

Updated HP results.

Given that WPC is coming up soon, Sudoku Tests take a break now. The next Sudoku test is planned around early November.

Also, we are planning to have 2 puzzle tests in October. Most likely on 9th and 16th. Details will be updated in the forum as soon as we have more information.

I think I should take time to solve quietly some puzzles before doing puzzles tournament, as I did with sudoku. At the beginning, it doesn't help to have time pressure. I need time to really understand logic of each puzzle. there aren't lot of puzzles with which I'm quite comfortable to try to be fast on solving (sudoku of course, kakuro, skyscrapers... all these things that looks like sudoku

)
But the problem is: when I have time, I prefer doing sudoku rather than other puzzles

Yes, but don't worry, chess knowledge or experience doesn't need to solve puzzles. It is enough to know the movement of pieces, and I think that everyone knows.

December LMI test is planned for the second weekend in December. Instructions will be uploaded probably December 1st, and the name of the test is "Puzzles and chess".

Yep... it seems like yesterday, but we have completed 12 Sudokus and 12 puzzles tests excluding the national championships.

Thanks to all participants for making the tests more and more competitive as months pass by.

The future tests will be posted on forum as and when they are planned, so just keep checking in the forum, every few days and you'll know.

For your second query, you can see a list of all the past Puzzle tests here. Click on the test name for the link to it, where you will find download links for the puzzle booklet and instruction booklet. Download those, use the password where necessary and practice those.
