Thanks Arun and Madhav for this very enjoyable set! I particularly liked the logics in XV hybrid 9x9 and Outside Parity 9x9. Fun!

Killer Battenburg was nice. I had no idea what the intended path on Outside Parity at all.
I would've liked the marks on Even-Odd to be without thick outlines, but preferences may vary.

If possible, can this test be extended by 1 day?

Due to multiple requests, I've extended this round by 24 hours. There will be no further extensions.

Unfortunately, my start of this contest like all recent sm contests was a catastroph! I did not manage to use correctly the right options to select for my solves before at least 20 minutes! That's really incredible!
So, that's why i am disappointed of my score, which is honestly not indicating my real level.

@EctoPlasma If you mean in the PDF, there were some inconsistencies in converting formats and I found that out too late to do anything about it, but I'll keep an eye on this for future rounds.

When I started the test yesterday, the contest page took 12 minutes to load, for the first puzzle to show up. And the submission of the first answer took more than 2 minutes. In between I checked my internet connection many times and all other web pages were refreshing as usual. And after the first submission, the score was shown as NaN. I was taking the online solve method, and certain Sudokus didn't load in the penpa+ interface even after repeated tries as instructed. So I ended up trying to solve Sudokus which were loading and not the ones I wanted too.

Can the organizers check whether it was just the effect of heavy web traffic in LMI site due to the fact that it was just minutes before the deadline or whether there is a bug?



Anyway my performance was heavily affected due to this.



Maybe I should start earlier, not minutes before the deadline or is it wiser to revert to paper solving?
