Posts: 4 Country : France | Aubin Danzo posted @ 2022-03-18 9:18 PM The grids are really good (and way harder than first round). But as I consider Mastermind more as a Word puzzle rather than a casual, we have 17pts casual, 64pts in Words and 19pts in mastermind that count as both. It's sad that a balance between the two is not achieved (even 40/60) The Boggle 2 gives as many points as the full casual section without Mastermind ^^'. (A commentary from someone that hates Word type Puzzle 😅) |

We were warned that this year's level of difficulty would be very different from previous year PR, but I think that was an understatement -- and I didn't really believe it after last month's PR test turned out to be on the easier side. I didn't expect to get so badly stuck on so many hard problems and really didn't use my time properly. 😢 Edited by auroux 2022-03-20 12:02 AM |

Well designed, just not right for rushing through them in a panic when realizing that one is not going to finish a PR round and failing to solve any of them. |

Posts: 11 Country : Switzerland | ropeko posted @ 2022-03-23 2:22 AM Rather hard puzzles. Spent half of the time on the second boggle. At least I could finish it 1min before the end 😅. After the end I looked at 10 Battleship Pool and saw the solution within 1min.. My favorite puzzles: 5 Touching Shapes and 17 Scrabble. Thanks! |

Spent a few minutes trying to fix it, but eventually just went with the online solve. Glad that existed. Mastermind wasn't very handy for online solve, so got stuck there for a bit. I managed to get through them eventually by just writing them on paper. |
