Country : India | Administrator posted @ 2021-04-30 3:55 AM Thank you for pointing this out. Since it doesn't affect the key we thought the fairest option is to announce it on the submission page and leave it as is. Apologies for the inconvenience (also to future solvers). |

Posts: 668 Country : India | swaroop2011 posted @ 2021-05-02 3:09 AM Wonderfully balanced set of puzzles. Had a lot of fun. Glad I could finish it just on time but disappointed that I wasted lots of time imagining the rotations and reflections of "5" shape. Enjoyed thoroughly. Thanks Priyam and Prasanna, testers and LMI :) I liked all the high-pointers. |

Posts: 24 Country : ITALY | GaS posted @ 2021-05-02 5:13 PM Hi All, just one "patological" note for Dosun-Fuwari Park puzzle. Reading the rules, if I have an Iron-ball shaped as the U pentominoes, I could have, in theory, two such iron-ball linked togheter "floating" supporting each other with no other "support" below them. The same for two U-shaped baloons. OO OXX OOX XX I guess that, in the "spirit" of the rules, it will be not allowed, but in theory it could be a valid solution with the actual rules ... :-) Obviously, other shape could have the same effects. By Gabriele That's a very interesting point. I'm thankful the shapes in both puzzles don't have this situation. If this puzzle type is reused it is definitely a valid clarification to add to the ruleset (or just let be and consider while constructing the puzzle) |

Given example uses only one shape but the instruction does not prohibit different regions from using the different shapes. Please clarify this. |

Different regions can have different shapes within the allowances below. In the example, you could have had the 2x2 ball replacing the trimino ball in any region if it didn't violate other rules. |

Posts: 44 Country : India | vjain9 posted @ 2021-05-06 10:43 AM Yes Prasanna..... Lot many queries in DF Park ! Is the linked ball piece considered as one unit and a part suspended if another is supported , acceptable ? IE is a 3 ball unit is placed horizontally on 1 black square and 2 balls hanging , allowed ? Only the available units have to be used and single units cant be used ? A unit has to be used within a highlighted region only ( This is now amply clear - YES ) |

What you are saying as "3 ball unit" is actually just "1 ball". The shape in its entirety is a ball. Only available shapes may be used. |
