I'm pretty confident that 6x6 Product Sandwich still has no solution. Please look into it

To those who have completed the contest - ignore the fact that I've submitted the broken puzzle, I did it once I was sure its broken, so that I could end the test and postpone start time so that Rakesh can look into it before more people encounter the error.

Wonderful set of puzzles. Unfortunate I couldn't finish the test, but Math is my weak type which I have been trying to improve slowly. Considering I left out only one puzzle, I am happy with the performance. I liked that Classics were more approachable compared to previous SM rounds. I could finish all of those in last 8-10 minutes.
Great work Madhav. Excited to see more contests authored by you in the future.
My favourite: 1) Mathrax 9x9 2) Product Sandwich 9x9 3) Partial Killer 6x6 in no particular order. Wonderful logic.
Thanks to LMI and testers as well.

Thanks a lot for this set of puzzles. Like swaroop2011 I liked the classics because they were more approachable than the March's round.
I have to say I did not understand at all the Sandwich product 6x6 with only numbers from 1 to 5 outside of the grid. If someone can explain me, I would be gladful, thanks a lot.

I echo Swaroop's comments, math is by far my weakest type but I'm really glad to have gotten through most of the puzzles. A bit bummed I lost perfect completion on all rounds, but if there was going to be a round to break the streak, it was always going to be math :-).
Liked the set a lot, always enjoy Madhav's puzzles! 9x9 mathrax was a wonderful puzzle.

Very nice set of puzzles. I was stuck with the 9*9 Partial Killer and had to use Phistomefel's ring theory to solve it in my spare time. Was that the desired solve path or was I overcomplicating things?

I dont think so phistomefel is required.. i just saw that box 7 needed 1 and 2 outside of the 17 and 25 cages, and 1 cant be in the 19 cage. then i used the same in box 1 and got 2 and 3 out of cages. I started like this

Thanks Madhav Sankaranarayanan for a very fun set. It was a nice challenge to get through all the sudokus. Mathrax took a lot of time for me but had a nice solve path.

Favourites are Product sandwich (9x9) and X Sums (9x9). Hope to see more contests authored by you in future. Well done !

Hi!

The killer doesn't require the implementation of Phistomefel's ring. The intended beginning involves inclusion-exclusion counting of the boxes 1,4 and 7, and the rest is fairly straightforward killer combinations. Hope this helps.

I am not a Math student so did not expect to solve any variant especially since it was authored by a young Math whiz. I am glad I managed to solve both the Mathrax and the 6by6 equation :). I wasted a lot of time on the 9by9 equation sudoku but kept breaking. The classics were very good. I look forward to solving the other variants at leisure.
