Nice set of puzzles @Anubhav and Ashish. Felt I solved very rustily. Point distribution felt a little bit off.I was mostly able to solve the higher pointers faster than the lower ones. Pentominous 6 felt much harder than the pentominous 10 and the answer keys of this type was laborious to enter.Would have preferred continuous set of cells as answer key in line with other puzzles. Strangely, the puzzle I practised the most (sashigane) got me nowhere and I couldn't finish even one while the ones I didn't focus much (pentominous and pentominous borders) helped at the end. Thanks a lot for a fun set !

Posts: 774 Country : India | rakesh_rai posted @ 2020-06-24 9:13 PM chaotic_iak - 2020-06-23 8:21 AM Answer keys for Pentominous could have just been lengths of contiguous blocks separated by border segments, like other puzzles. kishy72 - 2020-06-24 8:12 PM the answer keys of this type was laborious to enter.Would have preferred continuous set of cells as answer key in line with other puzzles. Yes. It would have been easier to enter with lengths of continuous cells. But it also improves the chance to get the right answer key without getting some pentomino parts correctly. This option was considered and then the letter notation was preferred.

Posts: 774 Country : India | rakesh_rai posted @ 2020-06-24 9:19 PM pranavmanu - 2020-06-21 8:34 PM My only gripe would be that the 3D Rassi Silai borders were hard to distinguish between dotted lines and borders. I did not see a dark border and ended up losing an easy 3 points. tamz29 - 2020-06-23 9:53 AM I felt the 3-D grids could be squished-horizontally a bit so it didn't look too flat. Valid points. These will be considered while designing the next 3D puzzle. In this test, there was actually an attempt to make the solid lines thicker than the dotted lines but probably that distinction was not enough.
