Also I accept that having 1-8 in the name may imply that each and every box must have atleast one circle, so 0-8 is fine

Very nice set of sudokus to finish SM for this year. I struggled on the AntiKnight 9x9, but otherwise it was a smooth and enjoyable solve. Favourite sudokus: Linked Line 9x9, 0-8 Difference, XV 9x9 Thanks Harmeet and Gaurav! Looking forward to the offline finals.

Wonderful finish to SM. Sad that I couldn't finish it. But the Linked 17 pointer and the Antiknight 9x9 was a grinder for me. Took most of my time in those 2 puzzles. Other puzzles were smooth. My favourite was Difference. I really enjoyed solving that. Thanks LMI and Authors for wonderful test.

A very nice contest to end SM.All sudokus were challenging and very enjoyable.Sadly, I couldn't do my best because of breaking sudokus far too often with minor errors and being engaged by guests for a couple of minutes at the start didn't help either.Ironically,I needed those minutes to finish the 2 left out 1 pointers.Arrghh frustrating.....I expect my score to fall out of Indian podium as there are many good and fast classic solvers from India. To conclude, a tremendous contest superbly constructed. My favourites are 0-8 difference (12 points) and Anti knight (12 points) Thanks a lot Harmeet and Gaurav for a very enjoyable round.

Thanks to Harmeet and Gaurav for some fantastic sudokus. The set was really a tricky one.I broke both the Linked Line 9*9 and the Differences 9*9 after spending arund 10 - 15 mins on each, and that effectively ended my contest. I felt the Anti Knight was a monster and deserved more points. Really good quality set,and a horribly disappointing end to SM 2019 for me. No clear favourites in this round, although if i had to pick one,it would be the Linked Line 9*9.

The variant 9x9s were really hard for me; I got only the Antiknight after some guessing. It might have been unwise to start with all the Classics. I'm disappointed in my result, unfortunately. Edited by mstang 2019-05-19 6:44 AM

In my opinion AK wasn,t worth so little points. It was a very tough puzzle. But there is a chance that I missed some trick there. Anyway the test was very nice!

I am thrilled that I managed to complete all classics and all 6x6 variants. I expected to struggle with the 0-5 but found the xv 6x6 quite difficult. I feel motivated by this peformance, usually I end each test with a vow never to attempt another !! |
