I participate for first time in LMI online sudoku rounds and I find it very good, although I couldn't answer all test.
I am from Cuba.
Why Country is in red color in my Control Panel data?
When I see Results Table for Sudoku Mahabharat in:
http://logicmastersindia.com/SM/201801/score.asp
Why in Results table, the Country column shows as *Unknown* ?
I don't understand what is wrong. I am the only one that has this column with *Unknown*.
And in Control Panel I wrote Cuba in Country field.

can someone please explain me how to solve linked sudoku along with an example and its solution.

In linked classic sudoku, normally there are two classic sudokus with same number of shaded cells. You have to solve both the sudokus as normal classic sudokus keeping in mind that the shaded cells of both the sudokus will have same digits. So if in one of the sudokus you get a number , say 9 , in one of the shaded cells , you can put 9 in the same shaded cell in the other sudoku. This is how you solve linked classic

Sir,
I participated in all the five rounds of Sudoku Mahabharat 2018 held upto now.
Yet, I find that only first test score is being reflected in the Leaderboard.

The date for ISC/SM is Aug 18th and that for IPC/PR is Aug 19th .The location is Mumbai.Please follow this thread for detailed info regarding venue and other details .

Hi. I have a query on the qualification criteria for SM/PR playoffs. There are differences in the eligibility criteria specified in the SM home page and SM Finals page. Can you clarify which will be the final criteria. This is just for clarity between the two versions of the rule. :-)

SM Home page:

All players who have achieved any one of the following are NOT eligible to participate in the playoff to determine the Sudoku Mahabharat winner.
Represented India in A-Team at the World Sudoku Championship at least once in the last 10 years..
Represented India in B-Team / UN-Team at the World Sudoku Championship at least twice in the last 10 years..
Won the Sudoku Mahabharat title twice.

SM/PR Finals Page:

After this, there will be a playoff to decide the SM & PR winners, which will be contested among the top 5 inexperienced participants (inexperienced is defined as someone who hasn’t been to the WSC/WPC respectively).

What will be the timings of SM playoffs??

The exact timings will be known once the Instruction booklet is released. Considering the last two years, the SM playoffs will start at around 3-4 pm after the main rounds and it may last for 45 minutes to one hour.

How will the participants for main round be decided???

is the registration for SM playoff and WSC qualiification round separate or same registration will do for both

Hi. There will be a single registration for the event. The main event will be the ISC which is the qualification for WSC. SM playoffs will take place after the main rounds among the top five inexperienced finalists (Inexperienced refers to the criteria mentioned in the SM homepage).

The scheduling need to be taken care for SM finals (Aug 18) day such that we have some time for any informal discussions, suggestions at the end of the day considering we will have maximum participants for SM. We were not able to accommodate the same last year due to venue timing restrictions.
