The 9x9 Renban was very nice -- it flowed smoothly from start to end. I found the 9x9 inequality quite painful, but I think I'm just really bad at reading the clues in this variant. (How do people keep track of all the zigzags ??) |

I had a good 40 minutes for these 2, but made mistakes in both and could not recover in time. waiting for solutions for these so that i can know my mistakes.

inequality puzzles should not be included with sudoku competitions. Entirely different approach. I understand the neighbors theme, but they just seemed out of place and required much too much time. |

Country : India | Wonderful set of puzzles. Took too much time on the bigger touchy and hence thought that the smaller touchy would also be tough. As a result didn't attempt that since I was running out of time . After the test when I solved the 6x6 touchy , I realised it was probably the easiest of all the sudokus . |

Cheers, Rajesh! I particularly liked the renban puzzles, and of course the touchy was near to my heart. Thanks for the contest, regards to Deb and the gang -- Dave |

hi, i have played sudoku mahabharat on 20th feb. can't i play it on 21st feb.
It is the same contest (Neighbours ) which is open for a 96-hour period. Since you already took it on 20th, you cannot take it again. Watch out for the next Sudoku Mahabharat contest in March 2015. |

Hi Rajesh!.The sudokus were absolutely splendid and I enjoyed solving them a lot.It was thorough fun. This must probably be the first test that you have solely authored in LMI?!and what an impressive start at that! The sudokus were very logically solveable and had smooth flowing solutions. My favourites of the pack were Touchy (14 ),Inequality (12 )[I totally despise the Inequality variant of sudoku in general ,but you made me reconsider my preferences by constructing this particular one.It might have to do with the beautiful solve path..9-8-7-6...Great work!!] and the classic (10 ) which dragged me a little bit in the end.I continue to be amazed by the scope of improvement left in my classic solving style which I understood by solving the classic 10 pointer.I learnt a lot by solving this test. I look forward to solving your sudokus in the Indian round of the GP where you are one of the co-authors.Thanks a lot Rajesh.Highly impressed by your style of construction!! |

For Touchy Sudoku try to start with 1 and 9 as 1 and 9 can has to be connected with 2 and 8 respectively.

I seem to have correct solution for inequality 9*9, but it shows wrong..
For your solution, check that all the inequality sign are followed properly. Missing even one inequality sign sometimes leads to wrong solution.
