It's probably a headache / edge-case but what happens to GP test solvers?

I'm a bit confused by this. The first round of Sudoku Mahabharat is scheduled to start on the 20th of January. The submission page isn't active yet.

The Sudoku GP is on the website gp.worldpuzzle.org . The competition you are commenting on here is Sudoku Mahabharat, conducted by Logic Masters India. You can practice older Sudoku Mahabharat rounds by going to the "LMI Monthly" link at the top and selecting Monthly Tests on the drop down. There, where it says "Contest type" in the top search filters, click on "Any" and instead select "Sudoku Mahabharat". Here you can access all the rounds of past years.

Feel free to post if you're facing further difficulties.

If you are posting here you're already registered. There isn't any added step. I suggest reading the F.A.Q. on the home page for how online contests take place. There is also a detailed explanation of Sudoku Mahabharat in the top left of the home page. At the top of the home page there is a link to Monthly Tests where you can go and modify your search to just past Sudoku Mahabharat rounds.
