A general question for this round:
Do we have to mark the two sub-regions with some indicator (like a color or shading) to score full points OR is solving(without marking) the two conjoined puzzles correctly just fine?

It is not necessary to mark the sub-regions. Full points will be awarded if the individual puzzles have correct solutions as part of the the overall solution.
