An LMI player | An LMI player posted @ 2022-01-28 8:05 AM Very fun competition. Agreed with shaggy it's nice to be able to finish. That's one thing I liked about the race to 37 on LMD, which afaik is still ongoing! I also really enjoyed solving through the embedded penpa with the answer key submission right there under the puzzle, so hope to see that in future where possible. Thanks all involved! |

Posts: 4 Country : United States | shogia posted @ 2022-01-29 9:11 AM Count me in the "love contests I have a chance to actually finish" group. Now I just need to not take a third of my time on two puzzles next time to improve. I will always take more contests like this, consider that high praise! |

Posts: 9 Country : Australia | chocchip37 posted @ 2022-01-29 11:54 AM Echo the above sentiments - fun puzzles! Enjoyed all Hidato and Star Battle, and for not doing many Nurikabe's beforehand, finishing Nurikabe 1 and 2 was very good for me. Stumped by the middle 4-8-4 section on Nurikabe 3 - any pointers would be amazing! :) |

Posts: 7 Country : United States | djmathman posted @ 2022-01-29 12:22 PM @Chocchip37: The middle 4-8-4 section is driven by the large 8 island in the middle. It doesn't have enough room there to fit 8 cells, because there are so many islands surrounding it; how can it escape? |

Posts: 9 Country : Australia | chocchip37 posted @ 2022-01-29 1:36 PM @djmathman: Ah, yes, there is only one way it can escape; ty, that gives me something to work with :) |

Posts: 1 Country : Finland | hunchcat posted @ 2022-01-29 3:06 PM Thank you for the fun puzzles! It was my first time taking part in any sort of competition and Iām relatively happy with how I did. Statue park 3 stumped me and Iām still trying to find the error in my logic, but other than that and a tiny error in submitting one of the hidatos, it was great! Looking forward to the next one! |
