1. Please use the booklet for practising the puzzles only.
2. These puzzles are from a competition previously held at LMI and that competition has nothing to do with the IPC 2012 except for using the puzzles for practise.
3. Please ignore Page 1 of the PDF booklet.
4. Please do not ask any questions about that competition in this thread. |

Country : India | In the sample puzzle for Coded TomTom given in the instruction booklet, the first number should be AH+, right? It's given as AF+, which doesn't lead to a proper solution. |

In the past, IPCs have been open for a longer period to allow international participation. (eg, in parts of USA, it will start at 3:30am).
Will there be the option this year to participate later in the day, or even another day for other nationalities competing as guests? |

Yes, we'll keep it open for Monday midnight GMT time (just like other LMI tests ) for international participation. |

Country : United States | Hi.. I am an Indian living in USA... I want to take part in IPC 2012. Since the test is from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm, it will be morning 4:30 am here. What I wanted to know is, will a printer be required or will it be more convenient to solve it if we print the puzzles out on paper? If that is so I will have to run to lab early in the morning :( .... please do give me some suggestions regarding this.. thanx |

A printer helps, and its always best to solve on paper speed-wise, but then, you can easily do it on paint/some similar tool as well. If you want to optimize your performance, you're probably better off with a printer and should probably decide if you can go to the lab early, but as long as you are logically sound in solving the puzzles, it won't affect you a huge lot. I gave IPC 2010 and numerous LMI tests before April on paint : ) |

If you want to be eligible for Selection to Team India, and be in the official Indian IPC results, you should start it at 2 PM and you have till 4.30. It is open for longer mainly for International participants to enjoy the competition at their convenience. |

Country : India | I thought a 15 minute window is available as per IB, it says for IPC answers will not be accepted after 16.45, referring to previous comments by Prasanna

Country : India | You can start between 2pm and 2.15pm anytime, latest being 2.15pm if you want to make use of complete 150 minutes. |

• It has 16 pages. There is no cover page or points table. The booklet doesn't have example puzzles.
• Players are advised to download the booklet prior to "Starting IPC".
• There is no bonus points.
• There is no "Claim Bonus" or "I am done" button.

I am hoping that this is just an example. In the actual puzzle we have to put numbers from 1 to N?
