Country : India | Administrator posted @ 2012-02-29 8:37 AM There is no V between 1 and 4 in row 2. Remember that in XV puzzle, converse rules apply. That means, all possible places of X and V are marked. If there is no V, sum of adjacent digits cannot be 5. Similar rule for X / 10. |

Posts: 7 Country : United States | EMJ posted @ 2012-03-05 4:20 AM Hi. I'm not sure where this question should go, and/but I haven't seen it answered on the forum. I'm relatively new here. I greatly enjoy the puzzles. I'm not trying to compete, not into speed or guessing, so I enjoy going back to previous contests and solving them at my own pace. [Though I do love getting the daily classic Tapa online!]. Anyway, there's generally not a need for answer key for most problems, since you usually know when you've solved them. But going back to previous Tapa Variations Contests, I'm less certain on some of the more exotic varieties if I might have missed something that otherwise looks right. Is there a place where the answers to the old contests (in the answer key form used) can be accessed? |

As of now, it is not available to public, although it is stored in our database. We will spend time to make it available publicly. However, if you are looking for the complete solution for any old puzzle, it may not be available with us. We encourage everyone to post in the forum asking for the solution, and surely some of us will be able to provide the solution. |

Posts: 7 Country : United States | EMJ posted @ 2012-03-06 2:59 AM I appreciate the quick reply. I think that the "answer key" should be sufficient most or all of the time. But thanks for the advice about posting a request if needed. And definitely "thanks" for considering taking the time to make the answer keys available!! |

Country : India | Administrator posted @ 2012-03-06 10:21 AM Solution codes are now available for all tests in 2011 and 2012. For example : http://logicmastersindia.com/lmitests/?test=TVC9#puzzles-table For tests in 2010 and 2009, it will take some more time. |

Posts: 1 Country : United States | MAO Master posted @ 2012-04-17 7:12 AM Hey guys, I'm am new to this website and find it particularly hard to navigate here. I would appreciate if someone familiar with this website (like a mod or Rohan or Administrator) could give me simplified instructions so I could get to sudoku-solving. I've read FAQ and stuff like that but frankly, I'm confused. |
