In 9 and 10 "Khanda Thrust" does every block of shaded cells have to be pointed at by a sword? Ie. Does "only one sword" mean "exactly on sword"?

Exactly one sword. Like in the IB example.
Note that 'pointed to' here indicates the block that is immediately adjacent to the two ends of the sword.

Yes, every shaded block is pointed at by only (or exactly) one sword. Like in the IB example.
Note that 'pointed to' here indicates the block that is immediately adjacent to the two ends of the sword.

The blue regions are pointed to by the blue sword.
The green regions are pointed to by the green sword.
The red regions are pointed to by the red sword.
