Well it didn't for me... Reload might have been a bad choice of wording, since in all three occurrences, I've mistakenly went back a page and then went forward to see the contest page again. Did this change the behaviour of the contest engine?

We tested out this specific case of going back and coming forward again. It does reset the timer for appearance, the only thing we can do is suggest that you refresh once after coming forward again, then the timer goes back to what it should be.
