how can people who are not participating in the regional rounds can take part in isc2011 ? when is the online round?
National Online Preliminary will be in May'11. Exact date / week will be published later.

Yes, but you qualify from offline, you can't qualify from online.

IF you qualify from offline THEN you can still participate in online BUT you won't be considered for qualification from online EVEN IF you finish in Top 10. However, Saarang's web site doesn't even mention ISC and there dont seem to be any Sudoku events in the itinerary. Also, the registration page for Saarang is asking for college ID and other college-related details. I'm not a college student. How do I still participate in ISC 2011? |

Country : India | As everyone would have noticed, there are 15 types of Sudokus appeared in the practice test.
In each of the regional prelims rounds, 10 of the 15 types will appear.
In each of the regional final round, 10 of the 15 types will appear.
The types in these 2 round will differ. But there won't be any new types than what appeared in the practice test.
LMI will not release any booklet for these regional rounds.

Regional prelims will be at campus itself. |
