I've gone through my solution many times to try and find anything that could contradict any of the rules. I've gone through the answer key I sent several times as well. And the answer key
3: PYXXXFLLLL
4: IFFUPPWFFU
5: VNILVPPUFU
was denied. I am, however, pretty sure that my solution (see link) is correct.

Am I wrong? Did I forget some strange rule? Or is there a mistake in my key that I didn't notice while reviewing it several times?
Or are there really multiple solutions?

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nh6e465VWi5sDslxTryU22XafKhU-pZE/vi...

Thank you for your help.

I have another correct solution, too...
Mine is

3-- PYFFZZLLLL
4-- ZZZVPPWFFU
5-- VNILVPPUFU

Mine was denied, too: but I'm pretty sure that's correct...

Thank for your patience.

Great contest!

The one genre I really didn't like was Rangoli. Also do the letters RANG mean something? Why not just use 1234 or ABCD? I just found it confusing when solving.

Otherwise lots of fun though, I especially liked the Rassi Silai and the new variants (3D and adding turn counts)!

Thanks for the input.

Yes, RANG means colour. While coming up with the idea of this new puzzle, the thought of using 1234 had crossed my mind. But I didn't want to give it a Sudokuish feel.

Rassi silaai is a personal favourite of mine too. We came up with this innovative thinking of using exploratory clues, simple 3D grids and thematic puzzles (Swastik the holy symbol, LPS).

Hope you will like the future puzzles :)

I found it harder to get used to using the letters RANG instead of 1234 for Rangoli - had to use additional processing power to keep them ordered in my head since they have to be conseuctive either CW or CCW (not a criticism, just an observation).

Rounding off the PR season with a fantastic set. Perfect difficulty level and a great quality of puzzles. Thoroughly enjoyed!
My favourites were the Pentominous 2, 5 Cells 3, and the Sashigane 1
My only gripe would be that the 3D Rassi Silai borders were hard to distinguish between dotted lines and borders. I did not see a dark border and ended up losing an easy 3 points.
Happy personally to round the SM/PR season off with a satisfying performance :)

Thank you Ashish and Anubhav!

This was fun, thanks! Almost all new types for me, I practiced the Regions puzzles (and they went pretty smoothly).

I found it tricky to remember the letter sequence in Rangoli: I ended up writing out the eight possible arrangements at the top of the page. ('1234' or 'ABCD' would have been easier?)

Rassi Silai seems very interesting, I'll probably have some fun figuring out the intended logical path through them.

Once again thanks for the contest!

Very nice puzzles overall; no complaints about the puzzles themselves. Answer keys for Pentominous could have just been lengths of contiguous blocks separated by border segments, like other puzzles. (I get this might be borrowed from Fillomino; I also think Fillomino should go with lengths of contiguous blocks as well, like what I did in WAPC1-2.) I think Pentominous could have also fit on one page.

EDIT: After looking back at the test, I realized I liked the Regions part of the test much better than MII. In fact, I feel every single genre in MII had something that rubbed me off the wrong way: Turnkey felt intuition-heavy, Rangoli seemed like a weird combination of rules (admittedly probably just unused to them), and Rassi Silai still felt like the threads didn't matter. True, there's the addition of numbers and internal borders, but numbers were only used in one puzzle, and the rules of the genre became filled with more things mashed together. It's very possible it's just everything in MII are new (besides Rassi Silai) and that I should face new genres.

A nice short test. I think we were all strangers to the MII.
I remembered Rassi Silai from WPC2017, but there were no numbers/3-D there so it's a nice expansion to the genre.
I felt the 3-D grids could be squished-horizontally a bit so it didn't look too flat.
The Regions part were filled with high-quality puzzles. Thanks for them!

Extended thanks to everyone involved with this year's PR. I think this is the first time I competed in all 6 sets.
Would like to see the overall ratings updated regularly though.
