Is you guys have any proof of the others top players if they cheated or not.

Its not my place to comment on the rest of your concerns, but yes there is proof for the top players, since all of the top 10 have also excelled at offline tournaments like the Times Sudoku Championship and also the World Sudoku Championship, and the results are consistent with the ones here. Is it possible for you to participate in the Times Sudoku Championship that's coming up soon? If your result there is as impressive it is an easy way to prove things.

How balanced do you think the puzzle types of this test were? Fairly balanced
What was your opinion of the distribution of easy/hard puzzles? Just right
What did you think about the puzzle quality of the test? Fairly Nice
What was your opinion of the booklet formatting and printing? Just right

Some of puzzles have too low points not balanced with their difficulty.

The puzzles being too easy is just due to a selfish preference, since I feel a harder difficulty suits me better :P The quality really was great, even down to the easiest ones like the True Or Lie Sudoku which had a really good simple theme. Thanks to all the authors/organizers/testers.

ISC 2015 is over

ISC 2015 was held to determine the National Champion and Indian A-team for the World Sudoku Championship. Rishi Puri won with an impressive score of 1369.6, finishing all 27 puzzles in 97 minutes. Prasanna Seshadri was the runner-up, finishing in 112 minutes, with Rohan Rao finishing in 119 minutes for 3rd place. The top 3 were the only ones among the official rankings who finished the set but Kishore Kumar came within one puzzle of a finish, with 930 points, rounding up the top 4 for the Indian A-Team.
Many of our junior team made their ISC debut this year. Aditi Seshadri (25th), Hemant Malani (28th), Shristi Kejriwal (33rd) and Kartik Reddy (84th) all posted good strong scores in the official section of the Championship while Shambo Debnath and Pranav Kamesh also had decent performances during the unofficial section.
The unofficial section was topped by Tiit Vunk of Estonia, who finished just 8 minutes faster than Rishi, whose score was enough to get him a 4th place in the International rankings. Kota Morinishi (Japan) and Jakub Ondrousek (Czech Republic) were 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Congratulations to all the winners and the debutants!

Thank you everyone for participating. We hope you enjoyed the contest. Please let us know any feedback regarding puzzles/format/etc. and feel free to rate the puzzles on the submission page.

I agree that the overall difficulty is little less than what we have seen in previous years. Just by going by the time taken by best Indian to complete the set,
2013 - 125 minutes
2014 - 106 minutes
2015 - 97 minutes

In the hindsight, I could have included few more difficult Sudokus, without increasing the number of Sudokus.

Certificates & Prizes

As we had done last year, we'll be sending participation certificates to all the official participants on their registered email IDs. Also, as we had done last year, we are making the hard copies of the certificates, along with the organizer's sign, available at the price of Rs. 99. The account details will be sent in the mail with the participation certificate. Unlike last year, we have set a deadline for our convenience. All requests for hard copies, along with details of preferred name, and mailing address, need to be mailed in reply to the Participation certificate email by 31st August. We will then courier all of them together in the 1st week of September.

In addition to this, the top 10 official participants will receive a prize each. Details about the prize will be announced here at a later date, and the prizes will be sent along with certificates in the 1st week of September.

Did the Instructions Booklet (IB) provide enough information about participating in ISC? Yes, mostly.
Did you understand the Sudoku variations rules and examples from the IB? I understood all of them.
Did you find enough easy Sudokus to solve during the championship? Yes, some of them were easy. I would have liked more easy puzzles.
Did you find enough easy / familiar variations to solve during the championship? Yes, there were many of them.
After your experience in ISC, are you going to participate in future championshiops or contests at LMI? Most likely

Some lines in several grids contained extra half cell long endings when printed. This has happened also before. Grids 8 and 22 could not be solved from the print-out without seeing them on the screen.

Yes, I've faced this problem too. I believe it is a problem specific to certain printers, but its weird that it happens.

Cheeck for 2 and then 4 in r7. Hint is to see the places these digits can't be placed due to intersection of classic & anti knight rules using box 6.
