Hi. There are two methods where you can solve and submit the answers in ISC. 1. You can print the question booklet, solve it and submit the marked rows and columns answers in the text box provided. 2. You can use the Online Flash interface where you can solve the sudoku without any need of printer. If you see the above post by user doku, you will have the illustration of both the methods. The first one is the Flash interface and the second one is the text box format where you can solve and submit the marked row/column combination. Edited by rvarun 2015-06-26 5:01 PM |

After the timing for ISC starts, the only thing you should be doing is solving the Sudokus, and not figure out how the website works. |

The rule should be "In regions with less than or equal to 8 cells, digits should not repeat" |

If a triomino 'goes out' of the corner box, there needs to be another place where it 'comes in' to make up the numbers. So if there aren't two exit points, the box must contain the entire triomino within itself. As a general tip for this variant I suggest having two sets of markings, one for cells which will contain a Triomino, and the other for cells which must contain digits (which isn't necessarily limited to just the cells with givens/solved digits). Odd Even View - Where there are two clues, the rules force one of those clues to be in the first cell from that direction. If there is a side that is entirely double-clued like the example in the Instructions booklet, then whatever digit occurs only once (e.g. 8) needs to be in the first cell of that direction, since, using the first sentence, it can't be anywhere else. Also, as a general tip here, it is useful to have two sets of markings, one for 'cell containing odd digit' and another for 'cell containing even digit', these can be useful without placing a digit at all. For instance if you solve the IB one, you should get 2 in R9C1 which forces R7R8R9C3 to be odd and that can be marked to keep track. |
