The Inside Skyscraper Sudoku should have been worth a million points, since it appears unsolvable. Seriously, though, I have been struggling with it for a couple hours and have only placed 6 or 7 numbers (some 1's 2's and a 3) but hit a solid impenetrable stone wall. The other variants were quite fun.
One of the test solvers missed an important corollary here that doesn't apply to normal skyscrapers. This is the fact that the number which is placed in the cell with the arrow cannot appear in the buildings it sees. So where in normal skyscraper a "7" clue can "see" a 3 at the start (going to 3-4-5-6-7-8-9 ), in Inside Skyscraper, this cannot happen since the 7 is taken away from the buildings and can at most see (3-4-5-6-8-9 ). Once I pointed this out to my test solver it all fell in (still a work-through, but not impossible at least ). Maybe this tip helps you too? |

Country : India | Update - E-certificates sent E-certificates have been sent to all official participants with non-zero scores. If anyone has not received an e-certificate, please let us know here.
Also, an email was sent to the respective top 10s of IPC and ISC requesting for their address in order to send their prize. The ones whose address was already given to the organizers (either as a prize claim or a certificate claim ) weren't included in this mail, but for others who secured a top 10 Official ranking, this is another reminder about the same.
Tomorrow, all the participants who've ordered a hard copy of the certificate will be sent details to transfer the cost to LMI. Once transferred, the certificates will be sent to the given addresses.

Just checked, and I've definitely sent a certificate to this email address and can see it in my sent-mail folder. Maybe you can check your spam folder? If its still not there I'll re-send. |
