Screen Tests are designed to test visual skills. We've made an effort to make the difficulty easier this year, but I think its important to keep this a visual skill based test.

I'm new there and not from englishspeaking country and I see such rule for the first. Thanks. It basically means that, for the rule that says "if X is there, then Y should happen", you should also take into consideration "if X is not there, Y shouldn't happen". Take XV for example, if there is an X between 2 cells, then the sum of those cells must be 10. Because converse rule applies, if there isn't an X between 2 cells then the sum cannot be 10.

I’d like to know how the exact point will be adjusted from 25 to 200 if an average time is less than 25 seconds or over 200 seconds.

Posts: 1801 Country : India | prasanna16391 posted @ 2013-11-15 10:46 AM Regarding JOCs - We have spotted that there are 2 possible digits for some of these. Answers will be (and have been) accepted if they have a valid reasoning behind them that myself and the testing has missed. So if you get a JOC marked wrong but used a logical solving path, please let us know. This post will remain restricted so only those who finish the test can read this and make the claim, if necessary. Sincere apologies for the double solution. Probably a good idea not to hold variant JOCs in the future.

Posts: 21 Country : Germany | uvo posted @ 2013-11-15 4:23 PM I'm quite sure both my solutions for B2 (JOC Repeated Neighbours) and E5 (JOC Killer) are correct. B2: Possible places for digits 3 are R1C4/6, R2C1/3, R6C1/3, R5C4/6. R6C1 implies R2C3, R1C6 and R5C4; R6C3 implies R5C4, R1C6 and R2C1. Not sure what the intended solution is, but both R1C6=3 and R5C4=3 should work. E5: R1C3=6 would imply R6C4=6, which is impossible due to the 13 cage; therefore R1C4=6. |
