Instead that we can make the championship as "Malaysia's Pioneer Sudoku portal". That is very good way of organizing Sudoku Championship. We can that on www.sudoku.com.my website. And participate in that competition and just try. |

Posts: 542 Country : India | rajeshk posted @ 2010-08-19 6:57 PM It is not impossible to get so much time. I have once participated in 24Hr Championship in Hungry and for me it was a life time experience. It looked impossible at the beginning but once you complete it, I am sure that one will remember this event life time. |

Also there have to be enough authors and competitors willing to participate in this event. This poll can give us answer. Great idea Gotroch, but as Fred and Deb pointed out, it is near impossible for a human to sit on a comp for 24 hrs. The better option here would be to have a full 1 week competition comprising of 2 rounds everyday. 7 days 14 rounds... Authors will not compete on a particular day when their puzzles are being solved and for competitors only top 6 of the 7 days will be considered. Rishi |

Country : India | debmohanty posted @ 2010-09-08 5:20 PM Rishi - Sounds more practical and achievable but everyone (including authors) has to participate in same number of tests so that final score is comparable. |

Posts: 460 Country : India | purifire posted @ 2010-09-08 5:55 PM yes Deb, if a person solves less than 6 rounds then automatically their scores will drop. We can keep it in lines with our monthly test that is a particular days round is open for 24 hrs and a person can solve as per their convinience. |

Posts: 13 Country : United States | radekivv posted @ 2010-09-12 7:51 AM It sounds like a great idea - I did 24 hours walking event; 24 hours puzzle solving event would be probably even tougher. Unfortunately, it has been too busy lately and will be for at least next two years but hopefuly when the time comes and I wil have time to play, this event will be already a "traditional one". |
