The Championship was a huge hit. The no. of participants for both the championships were much more than the initially no. expected participants. :-) Number of participants had to be restricted to around 250 each in the preliminary round due to space constraints & control issues. The enthusiasm in participants was very high. The finals were held in an open area with all the participants solving on A1 size sheets on Big Boards. This attracted loads of people and there was a huge crowd watching the finale taking place. Many individuals came seeing the competition taking place with such a crowd and showed there interest in participating in the same, but were sent back since it was the third and final round of the Championship.

It is a really nice to see Logicmasters India moving, popularizing and growing. I hope to see many such championships taking place in future.... Good Luck to everybody!! :-)

It's great to see there are so many enthusiastic people in India. :)

LMI is really doing a nice job. Cognizance 2010 seems to be a big event but anyway, 250 people on a sudoku tournament is very impressive. Hope we'll see the same happen some day in Europe...

Deb you forgot to mention Rajesh, who had created a few of the puzzles for the championship.
Also Ritesh and his brother Hitesh took time out on the event weekend to ensure that we had a smooth event at the venue.

The puzzles from the event have been uploaded on the website.
The puzzles are meant for beginners and can be used as practice for sprint rounds by advanced solvers too.
