In the rules of the Minesweeper puzzle, it is said that a question mark may represent any non-zero number; yet, in the given solution, one question mark represents 0. Will a 0 be allowed in the competition?
Short update: We will be posting the final results of the PR online rounds tomorrow. We will also send a mail tomorrow about the venue and dates of the Indian Championships and the process to sign-up, etc. We have already sent the same to the SM participants where there is a lot of overlap, but the rest of you can watch out for the email. We will post another update here when the mail is sent.
We had 491 participants with non-zero scores in this year's Puzzle Ramayan. We also saw a new author, Chandrachud Nanduri join the fold, and authors like Nityant and Madhav build on last year's debut years.
The International chart was topped by Freddie Hand, followed by Jeffrey Bardon and Ken Endo.
In the Indian standings, Rohan Rao, Ashish Kumar and Swaroop Guggilam go into the finals with the top 3 scores.
Congratulations to the winners!
We will be mailing the top Indians about the ISPC finals within 24 hours, thank you all for participating!
Gave the set offline. This is my favourite round of PR this year ! Very high quality puzzles. Can't really remember when I had fun solving puzzles as much as I did when I solved Polyominoes Minesweepers.
Favourites are Polyominoes Minesweeper (both) and Consecutive Quads (10)
We have also mailed participants about it (the top 60 from both sets of online rounds. If you are in the top 60 and didn't receive it, it may be because you have told us you are not attending in previous communications. If you are in the top 60 and are interested in attending, and didn't receive the mail, let us know here or by sending a mail to firstname.lastname@example.org ). Others can feel free to sign up on the waiting list if they want to, after reading the details.
