The instructions for Volleyball contain a line that says "so that numbers repeat in any straight line" and also a "no repeat rule". Based on the example, I think the first phrase is the wrong one.
You are right, it is a major typo. Normal Trid rules apply and "numbers
do not repeat in any straight line".
