Country : India | A mail has been sent to the top 70 Indian participants of SM and the Indian participants of PR. Please check here for cumulative results as we have them so far -
SM: https://www.logicmastersindia.com/SM/2023-ranks.asp (final )
PR: https://www.logicmastersindia.com/PR/2023-ranks.asp (2 rounds to be computed )
Check your mail and let us know if you are in the noted rankings and haven't received the mail. Beyond that, to those who have received it, please try to let us know your plans asap. To the ones who haven't received it, I have a few notes:
1. If you are in Mumbai or can make it on late notice to Mumbai on the weekend of the 27th-28th of May, and you are interested to be on the waiting list for wildcards if we have slots, then email me @ prasanna16391@gmail.com and let me know.
2. If you want to make it as a volunteer on the above dates, email me for that too.
Whether you are in the top 70 or not, if you're unable to make it and would like to help with authoring, email me for that too. (This is only for Indians )
This year's page is not up yet, and we will post when it is, but you can check last year's for a rough idea on the finals and how they happen. - https://logicmastersindia.com/SM/2022pr-sm-finals.asp Since this year it's in Mumbai, the prices are obviously going to be higher, other than that it's largely similar. |

Country : India | I want to praise all the authors for the season for brilliant puzzles. I couldn't comment on feedback on individual rounds due to my schedule, but I wanted to take time now to appreciate the efforts and beautiful set of puzzles.
It was hectic during the initial months, reflected in my score with just on-the-edge participation. I am glad I could then find some time to improve as the contest progressed.
I also thank all the testers, Prasanna for organizing, and LMI Team (Deb) for making the whole contest run smoothly to their capacity.
One thing I would suggest to consider for the next iteration of PR 2024 is possible of having a mix of 60min and 90min rounds.
I liked the idea of increasing the difficulty level to move standards closer to WPC goals. However, I felt having all the 60min rounds was more punishing. i.e., One bad choice of puzzle or one puzzle mistake costs the entire round, whereas 90 min round allows recovering. Since WPC also has a mix of short and long rounds, I feel it naturally makes sense to have a mix of those in PR too.
Apart from this, I don't have any other feedback other than commending the efforts once again to everyone who was part of PR 2023 (Authors, Testors, Organizers) |
