Online solving using Penpa is enabled in this contest. Make sure to read the F.A.Q. on online solving before starting the contest.

Supported browsers : Latest versions of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera. At this point, we do not support Firefox.

The official period for "Happy New Year 2024 Sudoku Contest" is over. However, you can participate unofficially using this link.

Your timer will start when you click "Start Happy New Year 2024 Sudoku Contest" — then you will have 150 minutes to solve and submit your answers.

A timer will be shown the answer page with the remaining time.

Instant Grading

Due to the nature of scoring, all puzzles will initially be assigned 50 points on the submission page. The Samurai will be 10+10+10+10+10. This is just so that Instant grading is implemented and the percentages of points that will eventually be awarded are understood. Refer to the Instruction Booklet for the scoring and visit the forum if you have any queries.
In order to avoid the URL being too long, the Samurai doesn't have the rules on the penpa interface.
