Event to select the Junior team (under 18) to represent India at the World Junior Sudoku Championships
Conducted in several schools in 6 cities across India (Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore)
Event in two stages: School Rounds & National Finals
Winners from School Rounds will undergo a workshop on how to solve sudoku and variants.
Top 3 from the national finals will represent India at the World Junior Sudoku Championship in Beijing, China in July 2015. The expenses will be borne by Logic Masters India.

You are welcome to participate in any of the school rounds in your city, during a weekend in November 2014 - December 2014.
There will be two rounds of sudokus to solve.
From each school top 5 U-18 participants, top 2 U-15 and top 2 U-12 participants will be selected for the national finals.
The top participants will receive certificates of participation from Logic Masters India
The U-18 participants selected for national finals from each city will undergo a training workshop on advanced tips to solve sudoku in mid January 2015

Apart from the school rounds we will conduct an online round on 3rd Jan 2015 for qualification to the national finals
This round is mainly to reach out to students who cannot participate in the school rounds
Please note that participants selcted from the online round will have to arrange for their travel to one of the nearest 6 cities which will be venues (Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai) for the national finals

The national finals will be conducted simultaneously in 6 cities on 10th of January.
There will be a total of about 120 students will participate
The participants will be expected to solve 4 rounds of sudokus which will test different aspects of the participants solving skills
The top 3 across the 6 cities will be selected to represent India at the Junior World Sudoku Championship

Top 3 from National round will represent India at World Junior Sudoku Championship in Beijing, China
Top 3 from each city will receive trophies and sudoku books
Top 5 from each school will get certificates

Eligibility Criteria - Following definitions are used for different age groups
- U-18 : Born after 1st September 1997
- U-15 : Born after 1st September 2000
- U-12 : Born after 1st September 2003

There is a participation fee of Rs.200
- Proceeds from which will be used to provide for the expenses of participating in the World Championships
Participation is restricted to school students
The top 3 selected will get a chance to represent India at the Junior World Sudoku Championship 2015 which will be held in Beijing, China in July 2015
- Participants are expected to have a valid Indian Passport
Participants will have to bear their own costs for travelling to the venue for the regional rounds
Participants are expected to carry their own stationery for the event
Participants can participate in only one of the school rounds
