Congrats Rohan.... great job and great solving for a comfortable win.... surprised about Gaurav, but then the top 4 are reall good and formidable quartet... great to see Ritesh and Sumit back in groove and above all Tejal's climb has been steady but really wonderful... It is great to see her there among the toppers.

From the scores... the most pleasant surprise is Tejal... round 2 went bad for her, otherwise she would have been second... way to go Tejal.. great job : )

Country : France | Congratulations to the top four, and in particular Rohan ; very comfortable victory - first place on all four rounds is pretty impressive ! Bad luck for Gaurav, but of course this is the logical consequence of organizing qualifications with such efficiency : many strong players and only four places leads inevitably to deception for some of these players. Anyway, I hope everybody had fun and I wish you the best in advance for WSC 2011.
And once more, big congrats to Deb and the rest of LMI team for the impressive job they do. |

    Country : India | Thanks Rishi :)
If only round 2 was even slightly better, I would've been 2nd. But, its ok, shall try next year and give Rohan and you a tough fight! :) |

Country : France | Like Rajesh said some time ago :
You know Rohan has two R's in his name to score double any year.
Indeed, we know since a long time that, at least regarding indian players, possessing an R in your name is a huge advantage. And possessing two means that the puzzles appear to you like if they were already half-solved. So, of course, Rohan wins again. Nothing to do with skills !

Im sure you will give everyone a run for their money Tejal.. more so Rohan as it is his title on the line ; ) as for me.. I missed it this year... and with so far ahead in age, at times Family does take priority over sudoku for me : (

The Indian R-brigade is in good shape. Rajesh, Rakesh, Rishi, Ritesh, Rohan form a great team and to stop the R-trend, its going to be one hell of a task!
Unfortunately, its the J's, U's and T's that work in the WSC and WPC ; ) Edited by Rohan Rao 2011-06-14 12:11 AM
