It looks like the Sky Battleships example puzzle is non-unique. The Submarine in E3 could be in E4 or E6.

Thank you for picking this up, will fix for the next edition.

Also, the KakurOH example has a 30 in column two, which should be 35.

This is by no means an exhaustive list but some tips to help with Penpa+ tool/site for everyone.

Will there be a ranking for total score of bonus rounds?

These are designed to be stand-alone tests so we're looking at 5 separate rankings.

Though, I'd personally love to see some metric that can combine them.

New IB for Kakuro

The changes from the main IB are:
- Changed round duration to 77 minutes
- Added points
- Fixed KakurOH example
- Online link goes to Contest mode, but does not link back to LMI answer page. Recommend using 'open new tab'.
- ~~No online solving for Quad Max Kakuro, all other grids will link to Penpa~~

Quick Note: We sorted out the issue and Quad Max Kakuro will also have a penpa link.

One note: You will see an announcement on the top of the page. All this is, is a clarification that the boxes for the 4th puzzle behave a bit weirdly on our side, so we have allowed strings of 7 and 8 digits for both, but the first key will take 7 and the third key will take 8 as per the puzzle.

Bonus Round 1 - King of Kakuro - Puzzle 10 is incorrect. Please avoid it and we will sort the results out. Apologies for the issue.

If anyone tried Puzzle 10 and would like to address it, please mail us.

You should add which puzzle round this is from as there seem to be no separate threads for each puzzle type of the bonus rounds.

Updated. Thank you. We have also removed the puzzle from the PDF and removed the submission box, but will still keep this up.

The fourth Bonus Round, Baker Street Irregulars, has a puzzle (Puzzle 1) with multiple solutions. We have noted as such on the submission page. Please note that solution images should NOT be posted here, but in the specific Baker Street Irregulars thread - https://logicmastersindia.com/forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=2987&... . Also note that we will ONLY consider posts that have had a wrong submission in the database first with the key matching the posted solution. We are generally more lenient with the bonus rounds so we are being open about this and leaving it up to solvers. We hope everyone still enjoys this very nicely themed round.

Newer points added, check that you have the latest version. It'll be flat 130 points per Sudoku.

Question for Sudoku Nebula--does each region obey exactly one rule? So, for instance, a Clone shaded area can not contain only Evens or only Odds?

There is no restriction on a region taking up more than 1 rule. For example, the "Odd"-assigned region may end up having cells add up to 21.
But in the end, all the rules must be accounted for, in the exact number that was given in the IB, (Eg. 3 of Extra Regions, 2 of Clones ... and so on.)
