Penpa Tabs

Please use the "Sudoku" tab for all sudokus.
Sometimes the modes reset to something else but are easily changeable as per convenience.
You can also "resize" the grid based on your device and your solving convenience.

Is "Partial Killer" different from a normal Killer? What does "Partial" signify?

Partial is the name which got more famous from the Cracking the Cryptic Channel. Ideally both are same.
But current meta,
Partial Killer is referred where the entire grid is not filled with cages. i.e. Only few cages are given.
Killer - entire grid is covered with cages. There has been quite a discussion in the Discord servers as well. Traditionally both were called Killer.
In terms of solving, there is no difference. Both have the same rules. I guess it's just aesthetic difference.

Likely a typo in the instructions, but is there any significance to "Classic SudokuM2" appearing on page 2 in the "About this Episode" section?

Yes. It is a typo. Please ignore it. It will be corrected in the next version of IB.

Either I'm broken or this test is... but in at least one instance the instant grading insists a valid solution is false, while the final results table says it's correct. Another problem seems to have no valid solution, or I'm making a reasoning error (which is entirely possible, given how distracted I got about the correct grid being marked false).

Puzzle Booklet Updated to fix error

There was an incorrect clue in some puzzles. The Puzzle booklet has been changed at 1:45 AM (17th April). Please re-download the booklet even if you have already done earlier.
The solvers who started early and met with the incorrect grids (Partial Killer 9x9, and Product Sandwich 6x6) can send a private message to Administrator for a resolution. We will see if anything can be done.

Sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Update: Product Sandwich 6x6 still broken. You will be unable to start the contest for now while the issue is addressed.

Update: fixed.

To those who have completed the contest - ignore the fact that I've submitted the broken puzzle, I did it once I was sure its broken, so that I could end the test and postpone start time so that Rakesh can look into it before more people encounter the error.

Wonderful set of puzzles. Unfortunate I couldn't finish the test, but Math is my weak type which I have been trying to improve slowly. Considering I left out only one puzzle, I am happy with the performance. I liked that Classics were more approachable compared to previous SM rounds. I could finish all of those in last 8-10 minutes.
Great work Madhav. Excited to see more contests authored by you in the future.
My favourite: 1) Mathrax 9x9 2) Product Sandwich 9x9 3) Partial Killer 6x6 in no particular order. Wonderful logic.
Thanks to LMI and testers as well.

Thanks a lot for this set of puzzles. Like swaroop2011 I liked the classics because they were more approachable than the March's round.
I have to say I did not understand at all the Sandwich product 6x6 with only numbers from 1 to 5 outside of the grid. If someone can explain me, I would be gladful, thanks a lot.

I echo Swaroop's comments, math is by far my weakest type but I'm really glad to have gotten through most of the puzzles. A bit bummed I lost perfect completion on all rounds, but if there was going to be a round to break the streak, it was always going to be math :-).
Liked the set a lot, always enjoy Madhav's puzzles! 9x9 mathrax was a wonderful puzzle.

Very nice set of puzzles. I was stuck with the 9*9 Partial Killer and had to use Phistomefel's ring theory to solve it in my spare time. Was that the desired solve path or was I overcomplicating things?
