Hello all,
Just a short message to inform you that a few months ago the Dutch Puzzle Association was erected. Boardmembers are Delia Keetman, Hans Eendebak and me. Mid March we launched our own website. You can visit us here: World Class Puzzles from the Netherlands (WCPN). There is a free puzzle every day, and for members also a second puzzle. The archive is available for members only. Today we uploaded a very nice twin killer sudoku, with only cages in the shapes of the pentominos used in our logo. It is a sticky puzzle, so it will stay on the website for a while.
In June we organize our national sudoku and puzzle championships, both via internet in a two hours round. Members can participate for free.
So far the website is in Dutch only, we are working on translations. If you should have any questions in the meanwhile: just ask!
You are all welcome to check our site! Have fun.

Richard

Hi all,

Almost five years have gone since I published this message here in the LMI forum.
In that period quite some things have happened:
- we have held Dutch Championships; in the beginning on line; starting in 2017 it became a live event with the Puzzle Championship and the Sudoku Championship combined in one day at ORTEC's headquarter in Zoetermeer.
- WSC's and WPC's were visited by more teams during the years. In 2014 we send only one team, last autumn we were with an A, B and C team present in Prague!
- we present a daily free puzzle on our website. Recently we have improved the whole process of publishing our puzzles:
a) more members are contributing puzzles;
b) every puzzle is thoroughly tested in advance and we attached the difficulty level in all cases;
c) all instructions are available in Dutch as well as in English; we also went through all instructions to have them standardized as much as possible;
d) the lay-out/graphics are completely renewed and also standardized.

Our monthly compilation of puzzles is exclusive available for members, but to see how it looks like, the magazine of december is temporary available for everyone at WCPN.nl.
Enjoy these puzzles!

For the future we have plans for a starter's corner and/or a tips and tricks section, but those plans are not yet very concrete.
If someone knows about 'best practises' for these issues, we are very curious!

Have a good puzzlish 2019!
Best regards, Richard
