Once again I would like to mention what a great inspiration the LMI sudoku test 'Classics vs. Innovatives' has been to me. Today's puzzle in the advent calender is a Between sudoku from that test. I only adjusted the lay-out, so it would fit better in the series.

Links to the most recent puzzles:
13.dec Pinocchio sudoku
14.dec Outside twin killer sudoku
15.dec No three in a row sudoku
16.dec Between sudoku

Have fun with these new puzzles again!

Slowly the Advent Calender is getting towards the end; only four days are left. The last puzzle of the calendar will appear on 24th of december.

In the past few days the following puzzles were published:
17.dec 2358 Difference Sudoku
18.dec Greater than Consecutive Sudoku
19.dec Sequence Roundabout Sudoku
20.dec Maximum Triplet Sudoku

I hope you enjoy the puzzles again!

Hi puzzle friends,
Today the last advent sudoku appeared, the calender is completed. I like to say once more how the tests here at LMI are a very great source of inspiration for me. LMI is a vivid place with nice puzzle ideas from various authors, that are for sure inspiration to others. I hope to enjoy that for a long time to come!

Links to the last puzzles:
21.dec: City construction sudoku
22.dec: Rhombus sudoku
23.dec: Domino sudoku
24.dec: Clone sudoku

Also on behalf of Arvid I can say: It was a pleasure to make this calender!

Have a nice Christmas!

For those who aren't LMD-active. I've combined all 24 puzzles into this PDF file.
You can save/print it at http://roygbivpuzzles.wordpress.com/2012/12/30/dutch-sudoku-advent/

(Am I allowed to do this? If this is inappropriate/illegal I'll be happy to take this down.)

You're welcome Tawan.
I think it's a nice way of telling you enjoyed the puzzles. :)
By the looks of it, it's a very neat pdf.

I hope people who sovled the puzzles will enter the solution codes and/or some comments on the actual website of Logic Masters Germany, links provided in the threads above.

Happy new year to all!

I was just about to ask if a combined pdf is available earlier today, because if at all I solve Sudokus non-competitively, I like solving as a set :P Thanks Tawan, and Richard for allowing it. I'll get it printed and go through them on New Year's day

One of the solvers pointed us at a small mistake in one of the puzzles. In sequence roundabout there was an arrow missing. Meanwhile it is repaired. Here is the link to the corrected puzzle.
@Tawan: maybe you should correct it in your booklet too.

I had a few unused puzzles for the calender; they are published now.
Outside twin killer
Between sudoku
Coming friday there will be one other 'Leftover', it will be the last one.

Shortly we will be starting to think about a brand new version of the calender. Any requests?

I always thought Advent Calendars with 24 doors are outdated. Something like 300 feels more appropriate ;-)

Advent Calender 2014: Double Dutch Sudoku Advent.

Richard Stolk wrote:
We would like to inform you all about a unique Sudoku advent calendar that I created together with my good friend Arvid Baars for the puzzle portal of Logic Masters Germany. We have chosen 12 very well known sudoku variants and 12 much less known variants. Every day we combine two of these in the schedule AB - BC - CD - ... - LM - MA. We believe that combining variants leads to very interesting solving steps, which really adds to the solving fun. We provide solving hints every day too, that might help you getting started.
